1) Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our websites, contact us, create an account, place an order, request a quote, chat/call with us, subscribe to marketing, or interact with our ads on third-party sites. It also describes your privacy rights under U.S. state laws (e.g., CPRA/CCPA, Colorado CPA, Virginia VCDPA, Connecticut and Utah laws) and, where applicable, the GDPR/UK GDPR.
We are the controller for information we process about you, except where a service provider acts on our instructions.
Orders & payments: items purchased, order notes, transaction amounts (payment card data is processed by our payment processors and not stored in full by us).
Quotes & support: messages, call recordings, chat transcripts, files/photos you upload (e.g., site photos for foundations/permits).
Provide services: create/manage accounts, process orders/returns/warranties, ship/deliver, provide quotes and customer support.
Business operations: site performance, analytics, debugging, security and fraud prevention, recordkeeping, audits, tax & compliance.
Personalization & marketing: recommend products, send service and marketing emails/SMS (with consent where required), measure ad performance.
Legal & safety: enforce terms, protect our rights/users, comply with laws and valid requests.
Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR, where applicable): performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., security, improvement, marketing to existing customers), consent (for certain cookies/communications), and legal obligations.
4) Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell personal information for money. We may “sell” or “share” (as those terms are defined under certain state privacy laws) limited identifiers via cookies and similar tools for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you opt out.
We share information with:
Service providers / processors: hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, customer support, email/SMS, analytics, advertising platforms, printing/fulfillment, installers, and carriers (e.g., UPS/FedEx/USPS and regional freight).
Business partners: financing providers (if you apply), authorized installers, and manufacturers for warranty/service.

6) Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above:
Orders, invoices, warranty/support: generally 7 years (tax/audit).
Accounts: while active; if you close an account, we minimize data and retain what’s necessary for legal obligations or disputes.
Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Cookies: per category and browser settings (see banner/Settings).
7) Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, monitoring). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8) Your choices & rights
Communications
Marketing emails/SMS: use the unsubscribe link or reply STOP (SMS). We may still send transactional/service messages.
U.S. State privacy rights (e.g., CA, CO, CT, UT, VA)
Know/Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccuracies.
Delete information (subject to legal exceptions).
Opt out of: (a) sale/share of personal information; (b) targeted advertising; (c) certain profiling.
Limit use/disclosure of sensitive information (if we collect any).
Appeal a decision if we deny your request (CO/CT/VA).

Shine the Light: to request a list of third parties to whom we disclosed personal information for direct marketing in the last calendar year, contact us with “Shine the Light” in the subject.
Nevada: we do not sell “covered information” as defined by Nevada law; you may still email us with “Nevada Opt-Out.”
GDPR/UK GDPR (if you are in the EEA/UK)
Rights include: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent (where processing is based on consent).

9) Children’s privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child provided information, contact us to delete it.
10) Do Not Track
Some browsers send DNT signals. We currently do not respond to DNT, but we honor applicable GPC signals as noted above.
11) Third-party links & features
Our site may link to third-party sites/apps or include embedded features (e.g., maps, videos, social buttons). Those parties operate under their own privacy policies.
12) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on our site and, where required, we’ll notify you.
